xbox dashboard update

Yesterday the 360 had a GUI update to use their live services.

The main things I noticed with the update are:

You can purchase clothes and accessories for your avatar with MS points
Netflix has streaming choices to view besides the shows you have added to your quere

I know there are more. Those 2 caught my eye the most on the 1st day of it. Nopt fond of paying money to make my avatar have a light saber($5). Most things are alot less, but I think I'll stick with the goodwill outlet they have where things are free.

Yes it is limp.

Haven't touched this with a nearly 8 month pole.

I'll talk about videogames.
At the bottom is my gamertag for the xbox. I have a lot of fun playing with friends online there. Yes I have a life outside of this, but maybe this is what I'll focus on here.

Children, Children, Children! Yes that's 3 of them

Haven't posted in awhile and have been trying to think of what to talk about, until it hit me on the head, shin and crotch, my kids! An about to be 2 years, soon to be 5,and an early 8 year old

They seem to be everywhere I am and take up much time, which isn't a bad thing, it just is what it is. My oldest is an 8 year old girl going through social changes. She still enjoys kiddie things but doesn't know how her peers act out in the same situations and are paying attention to the kids around her (the ones she knows).

Yesterday we went to see this kid singing group Smudge Fundae at a prak near us, and her brother and her were having a good time with a couple of songs, then a girl and her family from her softball team sits next to us, they didn't know it was us, and she saw her.

After that she spent most of the time watching her and sitting lower in her chair. She only knows the girl from softball, not a classmate. I felt sad she focused too much time on the other girl. Her brother could care less and had a ball.

Bob's reflection to Paper #2- edtech 6460

Reflection to Online Training Video- Naming a file, Saving a file & Creating a folder

Whenever a lesson is taught to the students, it should be evaluated to ensure that the objectives were satisfactorily met. If the objectives weren't satisfactorily met, the teacher needs to evaluate why they weren't met and how the lesson could be modified so the students could meet the objectives.

The purpose of the evaluation is to determine if the students are able to meet the objectives of naming a Microsoft Word file, saving a file, and creating a folder. The evaluation would assess the specific outcomes of each student's attempt at completing the tasks at hand. The teacher needs to evaluate if the students are able to name a file, save a file, and create a folder so the teacher can ask the students to complete these tasks independently for future projects. The evaluation will also determine which students may need one-on-one assistance with the tasks.

The evaluation would consist of the teacher having the students type a Microsoft Word Document. The teacher would then give an oral request for the students to name the file according to their initials and the ordered number of the project. The students would raise their hands when this step is completed and the teacher would check each student's computer to see if the step was completed properly. The teacher would check off on the checksheet which students succeeded and which students needed assistance. The teacher would repeat the above steps for saving a file, creating a folder, and placing the students' folders into the teacher's file, which has already been created. The evaluation process would allow the teacher to assist students who needed it and make note of those students who are able to independently complete the tasks. The online training video could be watched again by those students needing extra training.

The level of evaluation by Kirkpatrick that would be addressed the most with this evaluation would be level 2: Learning. As stated on page 249 of Dabbagh & Bannan, "Knowledge learned, skills developed, or attitudes changed consitute learning in Kirkpatrick's view." The evaluation stated above assesses the knowledge learned and the skills developed from watching the online training video of naming a file, saving a file and creating a folder. The evaluation will be more informal since it is based on the teacher's observation at a given time. The evaluation primarily impacts the evaluator's method of teaching the given lesson.

Since the online training video is geared for 3rd graders, the evaluation must assess skills that a 3rd grader is able to complete. The objectives of the lesson are simple and direct as is the evaluation.

Testes 1..2...3?

Started this based on an assignment for an online class. Don't know where to go from here. Any suggestions would be taken and rinsed thoroughly before spitting.
